Investments & Improvements at the Centre

As proud employee-owners of the NSBRC we recognise our responsibility as custodians of the visitor centre, and the importance of creating the best experience for all users of the NSBRC, including visitors, exhibitors, course delegates and conference guests.

Since the winter, we have undertaken a large programme of improvements to make the centre look and feel better than ever!

Some of the recent improvements we’ve made include:

Main Arena – All hi-bay lighting has been converted to low energy LEDs.

The total cost of all this recent work is around £40,000 and this is, of course, in addition to usual Planned Preventative Maintenance works including; heating and air-con servicing, EICR (electrical) testing, LOLER (lift) servicing, fire alarms etc.

If, during a visit, you see an area - in or around - the NSBRC that isn’t quite up to scratch, please let one of the team know, so we can ensure everyone enjoys a memorable experience with us.
