Ask An Architect - Saturday 4th July
Founder, Askew Cavanna Architects
I have been lucky enough to work as an architect for a good many years. Ten years ago I established my own practice in the heart of Bristol. It is a youthful and diverse practice with four other talented young architects - we work on projects for co-build and community groups, self builders, charities and creative businesses. Working ethically and sustainably is at the heart of our business. We aim to make a difference for those we work with. We also have a lot of fun.
Chartered Architect, Chartered Surveyor, formerly Director of DPDS Architecture in Swindon part of the DPDS Consulting group a planning, design and development consultancy practice.
Having worked for a number of architectural practices in London, Bath and Swindon, Mark has now set up his own practice MacDonnell Ltd in Bath. Mark has worked on all sizes of projects including small extensions, new builds, conversions, refurbishments and works on listed buildings. He has worked predominantly on residential projects but also schools, industrial sites and commercial properties. Before being an Architect Mark was a small developer and continues to be a property investor.
Mark likes to work collaboratively with clients and other consultants to get the best outcome at the right price.
