Wychwood Oak Flooring are specialists in ageing and antiquing new oak floors as a new project or to blend in and match to original surroundings. We supply our aged flooring to cottages, barn conversions, country houses, modern apartments, and new builds throughout the country.
NEW OAK FLOORING
Solid oak - antiqued and polished and engineered oak.
We use pigments to achieve rich and warm colour tones followed with lacquers, waxes and oils depending on the finish required.
SANDING AND RENOVATION
We sand and prepare oak and pine floors throughout England to a high standard, finishing them with lacquers oils or waxes depending on the required look.
We have experience in the restoration of oak and pine floors and have been involved in projects in England and Wales for private clients and organisations including CADW, The National Trust and the restoration of the cloisters at Exeter Cathedral.
Restoration projects may require replacement of some new oak boards to patch areas or it may involve cleaning and refinishing. We can colour match new oak closely to the original when repairing floors.
We also work on new build staircases and panelling by ageing them.
We can distress paint finish kitchens and cabinets and are endorsed by Farrow and Ball.
