On Wednesday 31st August BBC Wiltshire Radio featured a number of live pieces from the NSBRC during their breakfast programme. BBC reporter Karen Gardner visited the centre to discover how we can help people make their homes more energy efficient.
On Saturday 13th August, we held a workshop on Heat and Energy – to help homeowners and self builders like you to understand the options available to reduce energy consumption and improve the efficiency of your home.
We’ve been busy installing the final phase of LED hi-bay lights into the main arena at the NSBRC. Our 67,000ft2 building is lit by 138 hi-bay lights and, in phases, we’ve been practicing what we preach by converting to energy-efficient LEDs – with the final 60 lamps being installed this week.

‘Help to Build’ is a brand new government equity loan scheme, designed to help fund your custom or self build home and the big news is that applications will open for Help to Build: Equity Loan on Monday 27 June 2022.
