Eco-design integrates environmental aspects into the design of the product.
It is measured by integrating 3 criteria:

  • The thermal performance Ud, which will influence the insulating properties of the home.
  • Greenhouse effect, using Life Cycle Assessment (LCA).
  • The resource and origin rating.

The 94 mm leaf achieves a Ud value of  = 0.75 W/m².K*

As part of this eco-design approach, Bel'M has chosen to use bio-sourced thermal insulation (wood fibres).
