NSBRC Survey - 2022

Each year The National Self Build & Renovation Centre produces a survey in partnership with the National Custom & Self Build Association (NaCSBA).

The 2022 survey was completed by 644 people and provides a detailed view of who are the people undertaking substantial homebuilding projects, what motivates them, and what barriers they are currently faced with.

We asked new questions this year to understand the impact that the ‘cost of living’ and ‘energy crisis’ are having on self commissioned homes.

We have now officially opened our inspiring new Retrofit Zone, a hands-on exhibit showing homeowners exactly how to upgrade their homes for better comfort, efficiency, and sustainability.
