TIMBER: A RENEWABLE RESOURCE
While growing, trees absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, capturing carbon which is then stored while being used as a building material. As a natural product, timber needs less energy to be produced compared to concrete or steel.
By its very nature, timber is a renewable resource and can be recycled at the end of its serviceable life.
For your peace-of-mind, many Premier Forest products are FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) certified using timber sourced from responsibly managed forests (FSC® C020012 – FSC certified products available upon request). In addition we can supply many products as PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certified using timber sourced from sustainably managed forests (PEFC/16-37-325).
