Here's what our visitors had to say about our recent shows:
Visiting the NSBRC gave me so much more confidence in the process and management of self build. The show I went to was free, had loads of well informed vendors to talk to and the permanent exhibits were really educational. Definitely worth a visit if you are thinking of self build.

Visited at the weekend (10th October). Staff were incredibly helpful and cheerful at all times and answered multiple queries raised during the visit. The breadth of options was impressive. Pretty much every aspect of the "self-build" topic was covered - impressive...

A really great opportunity to question the experts face to face and compare products. Different ways of achieving your goals can be compared and contrasted all in one place.

We have been planning our self build project for a year now and have attended every show during that time. We live in Kent and find the round trip well worth it - packed full of suppliers and experts, we get so much from each visit. Each time we have a slightly different focus - timber frame companies the first time, up to yesterday's visit which was about windows, doors and MVHR, we always find a wealth of expertise on hand.

As a complete novice and finding myself needing to do some serious repairs and renovation to our house, my visit to the NSBRC has been inspirational. Over the two days of the October Show, I attended 10 Presentations, had two 1-2-1 consultations and talked to many relevant trades people, all of whom were passionate experts in their field.
I came away full of ideas and clear about the way forward to avoid the many pitfalls that can happen when undertaking building works, how to save on costs, get the best out of newer technologies, as well as how to move towards a more sustainable way of life.Lynn, ★★★★★
