With a high degree of strip-out and renovation there is a great opportunity to improve the performance of the property and reduce the running costs for energy by using improved insulation, solar power and and other renewable technologies such as air source heat pumps.
While not a complete blank canvas like a new build, major renovation projects will throw up similar choices and many of the options available in a new build can be applied to a renovation project.
