Self Build & Renovation: Live! - Episode 3 - 'Heating & Energy and October Show Timetable Preview'

In this episode, our series host Chris Dawes (Visual PR) is joined by special guest experts Clarissa Youden (Associate Director of Total Home Energy – heat recovery and ventilation specialists) and welcoming back Rob Bohm (Heating Consultant for CLPM Project Management Services and NSBRC Course Presenter) to delve into the headline subjects of heating and energy.

In the second half of the episode, Chris catches up with NSBRC’s Katy Ashcroft (Marketing Content Manager) and Nick Whant (Sustainability Manager) to have a look at some of the highlights in the timetable for the jam packed two-day Self Build & Renovation Show.

NSBRC Hosts Partner Forum Events for Exhibitors

The National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC) recently hosted two Partner Forum events, bringing together our exhibitors for business updates, sector insights and valuable networking opportunities.

The first forum, held in Blackburn, our ‘North’ edition, took place on Tuesday 10th March at Ultrapanel, home of the innovative 'Ultra Home' concept. The event opened with introductions from Harvey Fremlin and Helen Wildin, who welcomed attendees and provided an overview of their venue. In March, the team at the Centre are aiming to spend more time offsite to learn more about our partner’s offerings and latest news.

NSBRC Update: Work taking place in March 2026

Exciting changes are happening at the centre! To make way for new exhibits, some of the old ones need to be taken down, which means building work will be taking place. This work will continue on weekdays throughout March, but we’ll still be open for visits as usual.
