Welcome to the National Self build & Renovation Centre’s four part podcast on employee ownership, recorded in the summer of 2023.

Reflecting on our first nine years of employee-ownership, we want to, via these bite-size recordings, share our ‘real life’ insight on employee ownership and reveal what we’ve learnt along the way.

She has a broad range of business experience from large multinationals, as head of Marketing at Hasbro, to buying and selling her own small business.

Her radio show is a cause she believes in, helping new entrepreneurs navigate through the tough journey of starting and maintaining their entrepreneurial vision.

The Entrepreneur Show, Mondays at 2pm and repeated on Saturday at 4pm.

NSBRC Hosts Partner Forum Events for Exhibitors

The National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC) recently hosted two Partner Forum events, bringing together our exhibitors for business updates, sector insights and valuable networking opportunities.

The first forum, held in Blackburn, our ‘North’ edition, took place on Tuesday 10th March at Ultrapanel, home of the innovative 'Ultra Home' concept. The event opened with introductions from Harvey Fremlin and Helen Wildin, who welcomed attendees and provided an overview of their venue. In March, the team at the Centre are aiming to spend more time offsite to learn more about our partner’s offerings and latest news.

NSBRC Update: Work taking place in March 2026

Exciting changes are happening at the centre! To make way for new exhibits, some of the old ones need to be taken down, which means building work will be taking place. This work will continue on weekdays throughout March, but we’ll still be open for visits as usual.
