NSBRC Hosts Partner Forum Events for Exhibitors

The National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC) recently hosted two Partner Forum events, bringing together our exhibitors for business updates, sector insights and valuable networking opportunities.

The first forum, held in Blackburn, our ‘North’ edition, took place on Tuesday 10th March at Ultrapanel, home of the innovative 'Ultra Home' concept. The event opened with introductions from Harvey Fremlin and Helen Wildin, who welcomed attendees and provided an overview of their venue. In March, the team at the Centre are aiming to spend more time offsite to learn more about our partner’s offerings and latest news.

The NSBRC team then delivered a business and marketing update, sharing current activity and outlining ways exhibitors can become more involved with the Centre’s marketing initiatives.

Attendees also heard a sector update from Peter Johns, CEO of the National Custom & Self Build Association (NaCSBA), who discussed developments within the custom and self-build housing sector and highlighted the association’s ongoing work to support the industry.

The event concluded with a Q&A session, followed by a guided viewing of the Ultra Home and informal networking over lunch.

A second forum was held on Thursday 12th March at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre, our ‘home’ edition, giving exhibitors the opportunity to gather at the Centre itself and see the latest updates in person - we have now completely removed two of the full-sized show homes in the Piazza, making way for exciting replacements. Watch this space!

After an introduction from Harvey Fremlin, attendees received a sector update this time from Calum Taylor, before a further NSBRC business and marketing update from Harvey and Katy Ashcroft. The session also included a walking networking tour of the exhibition stands, allowing partners to connect with other exhibitors and learn more about the businesses represented at the Centre.

Both events provided a valuable opportunity for us to share updates, gather feedback, and strengthen relationships with our partners.
