NSBRC on the BBC

On Wednesday 31st August BBC Wiltshire Radio featured a number of live pieces from the NSBRC during their breakfast programme. BBC reporter Karen Gardner visited the centre to discover how we can help people make their homes more energy efficient.

The station has been keeping a keen eye on the energy crisis, and we were asked to help offer it’s listeners some tips to reduce energy use in the home. NSBRC managing director, Harvey Fremlin, was joined by Nu-Heat’s self-build sales manager, Jo Snell, and together – across four short interviews - they offered advice on insulation, heat pumps, LED lighting and solar panels. It was a fantastic opportunity to make our local audience aware of the resources available within our unique visitor centre including our educational exhibits and free expert helpdesk.

Thanks to Karen and Jo for making it such an enjoyable morning – and well worth setting our alarm clocks so early!
