Level Access Lifts

The National Self Build & Renovation Centre

Elegant Elevation:

If you are self-building or renovating, then the likelihood is that this will be your ‘forever home’. Upper floors and even split levels become more difficult to access as we get older or if we encounter mobility issues, so it makes good sense to consider futureproofing the home that you have poured your heart and soul into. So how do you achieve access to all areas of your home without compromising the aesthetic appearance that you have spent so much time and money perfecting? Here at Level Access Lifts, we are experts in providing elegant lifting solutions, which exude both quality and style.

Some people need a lift, some people want a home elevator. Some people want to make their lift a stunning focal feature, while others don’t want to see it at all. Whatever your criteria, we want to truly understand what is important to you so that we can tailor an offering to suit.

We are truly independent and enjoy long-standing relationships with high quality suppliers from all over the world. Our service is comprehensive, and we will guide every step of the way. We can work from plans or carry out a free home visit, following which we will present one or more proposals for your consideration. Once you have chosen your lift and any options that you might like to add, we will produce drawings to assist your design. When your building work is complete, we will carry out a pre-installation check to make sure that everything is in order. After the lift has been installed and commissioned, we provide a fully comprehensive parts and labour warranty and servicing too.

Split levels: Our Flexstep Lift from Liftup in Denmark is for the most part a set of stairs. However, at the press of a button and often to the surprise of the uninitiated, it transforms into a platform lift. You can choose from a range of wooden or metal handrails and step inserts. You can even choose to apply your own flooring to the steps, so that Flexstep blends seamlessly with the built environment. This solution means that you do not need to find space for stairs and a lift. An alternative solution would be a platform stairlift from Ascendor in Austria, which is large enough to accommodate a wheelchair user. When not in use, the platform can be folded away by pressing a button, reducing the visual appearance and leaving the stairs unimpeded. You can see Flexstep and an Ascendor Platform Stairlift on our Stand 132.

Floor to floor: If you would like a small personal elevator to take you to the upper floors of your home, then the Swift Lift Range should definitely make your shortlist. Not only does the Swift Lift range boast a massive array of finishes, art walls, carpets, ambient lighting, and touch screen displays, but it is also incredibly energy efficient. Thanks to its Tesla inspired motor technology, the batteries are charged every time the lift descends. This means that every 4th journey is for free, whilst normal operation uses less power than a conventional microwave oven. By installing a Swift Homelift, not only are you futureproofing your home, but you are also making light work of daily chores such as taking laundry or the vacuum cleaner upstairs.

Visit stand 132 to see how we can help make your perfect home, your forever home.
