Marmox (UK) Ltd is an integral part of the CMB group, which was founded in the late 1970s and now manufactures innovative building products and specialist insulation materials for the construction and refurbishment industries across the world.
Products include:
Marmox Multiboard – a BBA certified insulating and waterproof tile backer board. Used on floors and walls particularly in humid or wet areas, it provides increased tile adhesion and decoupling. Multiboard is CE marked and approved by the Energy Saving Trust as internal wall insulation boards providing a space efficient alternative to laminated plasterboard. They are also commonly used as insulation underneath electric under tile heating to increase the system’s energy efficiency.
Marmox Showerlay/Showerstone – Sloped bases for wetroom floors ready for tiling.
Marmox Soundboard – Waterproof, insulating, impact sound resistant board for floors, designed to stop the sound of footfall on a tiled floor being a nuisance to those in the rooms below.
Marmox Thermoblock – a BBA certified insulation unit to eliminate a thermal bridging at the wall floor junction of new-builds and assist in meeting the building emissions rate target in SAP. They are typically used at the base of a masonry or timber-framed supporting wall. Thermoblock is an approved product in BRE’s ‘Certified Thermal Products and Details Scheme.’
