Showersave: Wonderfully simple, cost-effective energy saving. Why wouldn’t you?
The Showersave waste water heat recovery system is a simple heat exchanger that reuses energy otherwise lost down the drain while showering.
By installing Showersave you will recover the energy from warm waste water flowing down the drain and use it to pre-heat the incoming cold water – simple, effective and highly reliable.
The Showersave QB1-21 is our best-selling product and for a limited time, we are offering NSBRC visitors £60 off the QB1-21 retail price (£498 excl. VAT).

Sunshield: Get the most out of your window shading with External Louvres
Many people consider their window shading options after their new home build or renovation is complete.
Using standard window shading such as internal blinds can ultimately be a last resort for most people, and these products can have a negative effect on reducing heat and sun glare. However choosing a product like tilt-able external louvres can eliminate all of these problems, saving you time, money and even improve on your long-term energy savings. Motorised external louvres are also a perfect choice for apex shaped glazing.

These surgeries will feature four selected experts, who all provide short, informative presentations on their field of expertise. On Friday 12th a panel discussion will take place looking at ‘The Natural Environment’. For this session we welcome:
Joanna Ferguson, The Bat Conservation Trust (BCT) | Bat Conservation & Ecological Surveys
Svend Rumbold, Rumbold-Ayers | Landscape Design
Antony Henn, Garden on a Roll | Wildlife-friendly Borders
Mark Pitman, Wildlife World | Wildlife Habitats & Feeders
Jo Ferguson, Built Environment Manager for BCT, oversees awareness raising and the development of best practice guidance for and with the built environment sector. Jo said “events like this hosted by the NSBRC are important for everyone involved in the self build and renovation sector. To both understand their responsibilities in relation to protected species, but also given the current biodiversity crisis, to play a vital role in supporting our wildlife for future generations.”
