Sarah Gibson MP visits NSBRC

On Saturday 10th August we enjoyed a very good Eco Workshop - our busiest workshop for a year - as we welcomed 225 adults who attended to gain valuable knowledge on a range of modern heating options and renewable technologies.

We were also joined by Sarah Gibson MP, who was invited to attend by the National Custom & Self Build Association (NaCSBA) and Team NSBRC. Sarah is a newly elected (Liberal Democrat) MP and her Chippenham constituency covers the Centre.

Sarah’s professional background is as a senior partner in an architectural practice and it is very encouraging for the NSBRC to have a constituency MP who has such in-depth experience of self build, and who understands at a personal level the benefits that it brings in terms of quality, value, sustainability, opportunity and choice. Sarah sat in on some of the talks, and is already familiar with the NSBRC having attended both as a visitor and in a professional capacity. We were pleased to hear her genuine ambitions to help enable people to achieve better housing during her time in parliament.

Both NaCSBA and Team NSBRC will be keeping in touch with Sarah and we’ll update this site with any relevant news or updates.
