Airflow: 5 Benefits of Installing an MVHR System

The past 3 years have been a whirlwind - and without a doubt, it’s been tough adjusting to the new norm. As a result of the recent pandemic there was a lot to consider, with air quality being one of them.

In parallel, the Government recently announced new building regulations to support the UK’s net zero target and build a cleaner environment. Therefore ventilation regulations have also changed and many developers will be adopting Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) to meet these requirements, commercially and residentially.

Chimella: an Open Chimney is like an Open Window

Chimella image.JPG

With energy prices sky rocketing to the highest levels ever, we are all being forced to look into how we can make our homes more energy efficient.

With difficult times ahead, keeping your home warm and lowering your bills does not need to be a big financial and planning decision. Just close off your chimney draughts with a Chimney Umbrella in a few seconds and you will feel the differences immediately.

Scandinavian Trading: The importance of indoor air quality.

Many products give off harmful emissions which can pollute the air in your home, including building materials, cleaning products and even toys.

Poor indoor air quality has been shown to negatively impact our health, comfort and wellbeing. We have products that are designed with indoor air quality in mind. Our pre-painted pure wood-fibre wall and ceiling panels do not contain any added chemicals and therefore do not release any harmful gases. Our electric smart heaters are designed to prevent burning of dust. These products provide you with a beautiful interior finish, whilst maintaining high indoor air quality throughout the seasons.
We are proud to be exhibiting these products at the NSBRC. For more information, please go to or email
