‘Self Build & Renovation: Live!’, is hosted by Visual PR’s Chris Dawes, in conversation with NSBRC team members and industry experts about key homebuilding subjects, show highlights and more. Broadcast live across our YouTube and social media channels, the shows are unscripted – which makes them more natural and engaging - and will include special guests and features.
We also want to dispel the idea that the centre is only for larger projects; in fact, it is aimed at anyone who wants to design and build their own home, renovate or extend their home, or retrofit their existing property to make it more energy efficient and comfortable.
Our two-day show (Friday 11th & Saturday 12th October) will bring together masterclasses, case studies, seminars and a line-up of experts ready to share their advice.
There will be more than 200 exhibitors in the Trade Village, as well as a range of professional services on hand offering free 1:2:1 consultations, including architects, designers, and planning experts.
We want people to know how accessible the centre is. It’s not just for big budget projects, so we can help people with even modest projects, giving them support and advice. When people find us, they come back many times, so we would love to let more people know we are here.

Episodes will be broadcast live on September 3rd (12pm), September 18th (12pm), and October 1st (12pm). The series will conclude with an episode on October 11th, from the show itself, featuring studio interviews and a roaming camera. Watch this space for an update on timings!
