- Does the project site lean more towards a particular system to use, foundations, walls and roof etc
- Is the client focused on sustainability or more towards performance, assistance with manufacturers including factory tours etc
- Are there any particular USP’s that would suit a project such as acoustic, fire or uneven ground and which would work best
Not all systems will work and not all sites will be able to take any one system and therefore a “Hybrid” approach often works best, such as an ICF wall, SIP roof and piled raft foundations.
We also work as a consultant for manufacturers enhancing their existing offerings, for example upgrading insulation and product fire performance or assisting with certification and testing.
Looking at the agency side of the business we would happily act on the client’s/self-builders’ behalf with Building Control(LABC Partner)/Planning, Engineers and manufacturer/designer to ensure that the project moves forward with all the variables covered.
