Velox arrived in the UK in 2014, with the first house being completed in Surrey. This brought the first panelised version of an ICF construction method to the UK, allowing customers to have their superstructure built off-site, drastically reducing the build time of an already super quick building method.
Our attitude to buildings ever more reflects our desire for a return to nature.
We would like to live in a natural environment and our demands on living are increasing.
Environmental aspects are therefore borne in mind even when producing basic elements of the VELOX building system –woodchip-cement boards. The production technology uses (wood and cement), is not natural materials energy-intensive and does not generate any emissions or hazardous waste that would burden the environment.
VELOX-WERK s.r.o. offers the option to return construction waste for recycling within the production process.
The VELOX building system without thermal bridges, which saves on excels in sound and thermal insulation heating energy within the completed structure. Both these characteristics comply with environmental requirements for energy savings. Natural materials and the entire clean and ecological system is a guarantee of healthy and comfortable living
Comfort as well as a source of wellbeing.
The massive and stable structure of the VELOX building system perfectly combines thermal insulation and heat accumulation parameters. Due to the high heat transmission resistance of external parts of the walls and heat accumulation of the concrete core, rooms remain pleasantly cool in summer and keep in the required heat in winter.
The ability to absorb disruptive noise from outside, and high fire protection characteristics, create benefits which will be appreciated by comfortable living today and by generations to come.
