Unique Opportunity to Conceal Blinds when Building a New Home
Concealed blinds are becoming more popular with the advancement of large glazing areas, minimal glazing structures and electric blinds. To have the option for concealed blinds, space is required within the overall structural layout and early planning is needed.
Grants have several display areas at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre and provide design guides, case studies and Zoom meetings to discuss your project.

Improving the airtightness with the Partel IZOPERM PLUS product system
Retrofitting or building your new home requires moisture-protected assemblies.
Improving the airtightness through the installation of the IZOPERM PLUS membrane on the internal wall and ceiling will prevent excess moisture from entering the building fabric, by controlling the water vapor for safe moisture management. It reduces heat loss, the risk of condensation, and improves energy efficiency for durable structures.
A well designed, and well-operated building envelope is critical. Partel provides expert technical advice, supporting your project at every stage. They offer WUFI® analysis on request to ensure that the completed project is functioning correctly.
Better, greener homes with Frame Technologies

Award-winning Frame Technologies designs, manufactures and installs bespoke structural timber systems. Their unique Tech Vantage™ systems are at the forefront of structurally insulated panel technology.
Who will inherit your home?
Building or developing your family home is a major undertaking. You have to hold on tight to your vision to get through the tricky bits. But what’s it all for?
Whatever your reasons, I doubt it’s to fund care in later life or to see it fall into the wrong hands. It’s your single biggest asset, so mitigating risk is important.
A properly constructed ‘estate plan’ costs less than a month in a care home. That’s a small price to pay for the peace of mind of knowing all your hard graft is not lost.
