January’s National Self Build & Renovation Show best attended for two years!

From Friday 28th to Sunday 30th January the NSBRC welcomed over two thousand people through our doors for the Winter edition of our popular ‘National Self Build & Renovation Show’.

We saw people travelling from Scotland and Cornwall to attend, and it was such a pleasure to see so many people engaging with our exhibitors and experts and to hear about so many exciting self build and home projects. It is clear that there is a huge demand for better homes in the UK.

Both the main theatres were consistently busy and several talks were ‘standing-room only’ which created a real buzz throughout the centre. Our experts provided one to one advice on a range of topics from architectural design, building regulations, site health and safety, project management and garden landscaping to name just a few.

Other highlights included guided educational tours of the NSBRC’s unique educational zones, Finding Land Surgeries (which were held in the Potton House, and very well attended) and the panel discussions on Building Systems and Heating Options.

If you missed out on this event, don’t worry as there is plenty going on at the NSBRC over the next few months:

Absolutely amazing, very friendly staff and very informative! Delightful to speak with humans who share a passion to provide quality service whilst we embark on our passion to build our dream home, thank you 😊

Really enjoyed this show, lots of variety, and lots of exhibitors, but it's nice and compact so you get to see lots of variety. Enjoyed the chilled vibe, had time for good conversations with lots of exhibitors.

Thank you. [We] thoroughly enjoyed our day. Well worth our 7 hours of driving! We learnt a lot and have some good ideas for our project.
