The Build It Awards highlight the most innovative products, outstanding services, and inspiring projects available to self builders and renovators across the UK. It’s a night where leading suppliers, manufacturers, industry experts and passionate self build advocates come together to recognise excellence and share in the progress being made across our sector.
As sponsors, we couldn’t have been happier to be part of an evening dedicated to quality, creativity and collaboration within the self build community. It was also a brilliant opportunity to support the many NSBRC exhibitors and partners who were shortlisted, and to cheer on the fantastic companies who took home awards on the night. We even had the privilege of our very own Katy presenting the award for the Best Stove on the evening, too!

Throughout the evening, the team enjoyed catching up with our existing partners, meeting new faces, and strengthening relationships across the building and home improvement industry.
But it wasn’t all serious business. In true NSBRC style, a spark of friendly competition emerged, courtesy of a full-sized Scalextric track. After several surprisingly intense races (yes, we’re all more competitive than we like to admit), the team found themselves going head-to-head with Andy from Total Homes Environment. We’re pleased to confirm that Katy took home the victory (well, Harvey wasn’t pleased and asked for a rematch!)
Of course, the heart of the evening was about recognising the remarkable achievements across the self build sector. The judges certainly had a tough job on their hands; every category showcased fresh thinking, technical excellence and the kind of innovation that continues to push our industry forward. We’re proud of every NSBRC partner who was shortlisted this year.

We left feeling inspired, energised, and incredibly proud of the companies we work alongside every day.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s event and to continuing our support for the brilliant brands who help make the National Self Build & Renovation Centre the home of self build, renovation and more recently retrofit.
